Jan. 4, 2017:

- A resident in the 300 block of East Franklin Street reported a suspicious male carrying a book bag was standing in front of their residence, then started walking eastbound. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

- A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street advised she had a water leak inside her house. She was advised how to turn the water off and to contact her landlord.

- Officers responded to a burglary alarm at Automark Speedy Car Care on Kingston Pike. The scene checked OK.

- A caller from Howard's Home Care on South Court Street reported a known subject threw a tennis shoe through a second story window and broke it. One male was transported to Berger Hospital, and officers determined it was a civil issue.

- Officers were requested for a stand-by to assist with an arrest on Hayward Street, but the subject could not be located.

- Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of Edison Avenue.

- A caller from Metro PCS on North Court Street reported a known subject had stolen about $3,000 from his business. A report was taken on theft.

- Officers responded to an activated burglary alarm in the 200 block of Clark Drive. The call was canceled by the homeowner.

- Officers responded to a parking complaint in the area of Pinckney and North Scioto streets.

- A caller reported a hold-up alarm coming from a key fob in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. Officers checked the area, and the scene checked OK.

- A caller in the 500 block of East Franklin Street reported a known subject had written her a bad check. Information was obtained, and the caller was advised to complete paperwork for the report.

- A caller on Norfolk Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle with two subjects in the area. A report was taken.

- A caller reported a vehicle driving all over the roadway near the Pickaway County District Public Library on North Court Street, and the occupants had thrown cans into the back of the truck. No report was taken.

- A resident on East High Street reported room mates were actively fighting. A report was taken on a domestic dispute, and the parties were separated for the night.

- Officers provided an agency assist with the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office on a theft in progress at Walmart. A report was taken.

- A caller reported a suspicious vehicle was parking outside his business in the 200 block of North Court Street at night. Information was obtained, and extra patrol was requested.

- A caller advised a vehicle was driving recklessly near Rural King on U.S. Route 23. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

- A caller on Half Avenue reported a male was beating a female outside the residence. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

- A resident on Sycamore Drive reported a known subject was attempting to assault his family with a knife. One person was transported to Berger Hospital, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.
