Teays Valley High School recently received a $1,750 grant from the Teays Valley Educational Foundation to purchase start-up equipment for a business venture for students through a non-profit company called Growlers Dog Bones.

This will provide vocational training to transitional age students.

"On behalf of the students and myself, we want to thank the Educational Foundation for the opportunity to collaborate with Growlers Dog Bones in creating a new, exciting workplace application at Teays Valley High School," said Shelly Arledge, intervention specialist. "This grant will provide our students with the chance to learn new work skills and produce a terrific product that can be purchased throughout the community."
